Are you a student looking to earn marketing experience to build your resume and portfolio? The Merry Moore boutique is looking to hire some local marketing interns in the Springfield, Missouri, area to help spread the word about who we are and what we have to offer. Internships will be a semester long with possibility to extend based on availability and outcome.
We are currently accepting applications for the Spring Semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES (To be split between interns)
Sidewalk chalk around campus and downtown once a week.
Leave flyers/coupons around campus, downtown, apartments, offices, and other local businesses once a week.
Pass out flyers/coupons during events: First Friday, Farmer's Market, etc.
Help with finding groups + booking Private Shopping Parties.
Come up with weekly sidewalk sign phrases.
Pitch monthly event ideas for the boutique to host.
Search for events the boutique could take part in around the community.
Help with events including prep, set-up, tear down.
Assist with live videos.
Design templates and graphics for Instagram Stories.
Create weekly newsletter graphics and verbiage.
Help with video filming and editing for social media.
Research market competitors that have stand out social media + identify how we could implement to fit within our brand.
Currently enrolled in college.
Available to spend minimum 5 hours a week to complete tasks.
Have a public Instagram.
Love all things social media.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Following us on Facebook and Instagram.
Shopped with us before and genuinely love the brand and products.
Transportation + availability to come by the boutique when needed to discuss projects and complete tasks.
Phone with camera to take pictures of completed projects.
Reliable, trustworthy, outgoing, think outside of the box.
Ability to work independently + own projects without too much follow-up.
Memorize + be comfortable talking about the boutique, how it started, etc.
Weekly recaps and check-ins.
Gain valuable marketing experience with a boutique that's newly opened.
Earn recommendation letters and referrals for future job applications.
Build up your portfolio with real life examples.
Discounts and other perks may be given for successful projects.
